                <text>Los bosques poseen un rol clave en la mitigación del cambio climático ya que contribuyen a reducir los gases del efecto invernadero. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo conocer la diversidad, la biomasa y la captura de carbono de un bosque secundario de caldén (Prosopis caldenia) de la Argentina. Su importancia radica en ser una formación vegetal nativa y endémica que ha sido modificado a través de la historia por la valoración de sus recursos naturales. Para cumplir con el objetivo, se aplicó la metodología de REDD+ que consta de un inventario aleatorio de 10 parcelas circulares cuya superficie total es de 1 ha. Se seleccionó como área de estudio la Reserva Provincial Laguna Guatraché, provincia de La Pampa. Los resultados determinaron que el bosque de caldén contiene 156,4 Mg/ha de biomasa y la captura de carbono que realiza es de 78,2 t/ha. Conocer este valor contribuye a comprender los servicios ecosistémicos de este bosque y la importancia de su conservación.</text>

                <text>Conhecer o custo de produção é uma das ferramentas mais importantes para subsidiar o planejamento e a tomada de decisão na agricultura. A pitaya é uma fruta exótica que tem despertado o interesse de produtores e consumidores no Brasil. Neste trabalho foram analisados os dados econômicos de pomares de pitaya de quatro propriedades com características de agricultura familiar na região do extremo sul do estado de Santa Catarina, seguindo a metodologia da Conab. O custo médio de produção ficou em R$ 1,53/kg e o preço de venda foi superior a R$ 4,00/kg.  As propriedades analisadas se mostraram eficientes, com lucratividade acima de 60%. Porém, foram identificados espaços para cortes de custos, como a introdução de novas cultivares e a utilização de produtos fitossanitários, máquinas e implementos adequados tecnologicamente à cultura da pitaya.</text>

                <text>Son muchos los retos globales que se avecinan; sin embargo, dentro de las discusiones en materia de política pública y legislación, poco se abordan las movilidades humanas como producto de los impactos del cambio climático. Si bien es cierto que el estudio de la relación entre migración y cambio climático es intrincado en comparación con los análisis que enfatizan en otras causas de las movilidades humanas, el escenario mundial que se proyecta demanda poner más atención en este factor. Este panorama mundial exige acciones de los gobiernos nacionales, así como repensar la racionalidad política con que actualmente se regula y gestiona el fenómeno migratorio. Por consiguiente, este trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis teórico de las principales posturas políticas en torno al fenómeno migratorio que han asumido los países y discutir hasta qué punto son pertinentes con las exigencias futuras en materia de cambio climático. La metodología empleada es analítica y parte de la base de descomponer en todas sus partes y tipos las principales políticas migratorias y contrastarlas con las legislaciones y acciones ejecutadas por los países y comunidades internacionales. Todo ello para establecer que las principales racionalidades políticas con las que se regula y gestiona el tema migratorio son insuficientes para atender las consecuencias de un fenómeno global e inevitable como el cambio climático.</text>

                <text>En este texto presentamos un trabajo de indagación sobre las formas  en  que  el  conflicto  ambiental  entre  el  campesinado  y  el modelo del agronegocio en Santiago del Estero, Argentina, se  expresa  en  el  campo  educativo.  Para  llevar  adelante  este  estudio  de  corte  cualitativo,  realizamos  primero  entrevistas  semiestructuradas y observaciones participantes en reuniones y   talleres   en   comunidades   campesinas   de   las   sierras   de   Guasayán.  Luego  revisamos  documentos  de  organizaciones  campesinas  de  la  provincia  de  Santiago  del  Estero.  Después  se   realizaron   ciclos   sucesivos   de   codificación   abierta   y   axial.  Los  resultados  se  estructuraron  en  los  siguientes  ejes  conceptuales: (1) sistema escolar en los territorios campesinos, (2) aprendizaje por participación en las comunidades y en el movimiento  y  (3)  Escuela  de  Agroecología.  La  conclusión  es  que  el  campo  educativo  es  uno  de  los  contextos  de  disputa  entre el campesinado y el agronegocio en la lucha del primero por su propia (re)existencia. Resaltamos así la importancia de mirar no solo cómo se representan los conflictos ambientales en el sistema educativo, sino también las prácticas de agentes educativos en dichos conflictos.</text>

                <text>Resumo Os sistemas agroflorestais (SAFs) se apresentam viáveis para a agricultura familiar como alternativa à agricultura convencional. Para avaliar a sustentabilidade desses sistemas, pode-se fazer uso de indicadores. Os estudos de indicadores de sustentabilidade nesses sistemas podem ser um mecanismo de incentivo à sua ampliação, subsidiando a atuação de assistência técnica e extensão rural (ATER), um investimento em políticas públicas, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento científico e tecnológico e para novas pesquisas. Nesse contexto, esta pesquisa se orientou em analisar os estudos sobre os indicadores de sustentabilidade em agroecossistemas por meio da produção de artigos dos últimos 30 anos, na base de dados do Portal de Periódicos Capes, que é uma biblioteca virtual no Brasil. As buscas, utilizando termos em espanhol, português e inglês, resultaram em um baixo número de artigos referentes ao tema, com pouca abordagem participativa, concentrados em reduzidas dimensões de sustentabilidade e com diferentes metodologias. Essas informações obtidas demonstram a necessidade de mais estudos, de forma participativa, para que se possam obter resultados representativos, contribuindo, assim, para uma melhor gestão e divulgação dos SAFs e servindo como orientadores de processos decisórios e de políticas públicas.</text>

                <text>En la actualidad, el seguimiento de cultivos en las parcelas agrícolas sigue siendo una de las tareas más trascendentales que tiene la agricultura de precisión, ya que por medio de esta se puede efectuar la estimación del rendimiento y la predicción de cosechas. Debido a las complicadas condiciones atmosféricas y factores climáticos que presenta el sector, la detección temprana de plagas y enfermedades se ha convertido en un desafío considerable que los productores deben asumir de manera constante. Esta investigación propone un sistema de reconocimiento rápido y eficaz de lesiones necróticas para la detección temprana de la plaga thrips en el guisante mediante la implementación del método de deep learning yolov4-tiny. Los resultados alcanzados por el sistema desarrollado mostraron que la IoU (Intersección sobre la Unión) es de 59,23% para una mAP (Precisión Media) de 87,8% sobre un conjunto de datos de alta densidad. Además, cada uno de los valores entregados por el sistema fueron comparados con un diagnóstico prescrito que fue realizado por un experto en la producción del cultivo a través de observaciones directas al guisante. De esta manera, se llegó a establecer que el sistema tiene una efectividad del 80%.</text>

                <text>Investigação sobre as formas e a eficácia da linguagem oral na manutenção da cultura da etnia Guajajara na Aldeia Tamarindo, do município de Barra do Corda-MA. Tem como objetivo analisar as formas e a eficácia com que a etnia Guajajara, utiliza a linguagem oral interpessoal em ações de mobilização social e manutenção da cultura. Trata, assim, de uma pesquisa qualitativa de natureza analítico-descritiva norteada por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e de pesquisa de campo; pelo método etnográfico e pela análise de assunto adotada por Bardin. Utiliza como instrumento de coleta de dados, as técnicas de entrevista semiestruturada, observação e diário de protocolo verbal no sentido de compreender como a linguagem não verbal é utilizada pelos Guajajaras em suas relações interpessoais frente aos diferentes meios e estratégias de comunicação disponíveis na Aldeia Tamarindo. Concebe a linguagem oral como uma ferramenta de fundamental importância no resgate da sabedoria acumulada ao longo do tempo, e principalmente na coesão da organização social, fazendo para tanto, uma incursão nas formas como as tradições orais da Aldeia Tamarindo subsistiram com o passar dos anos. Apresenta como resultado inicial, que o enraizamento da cultura, expressos pelos ensinamentos domésticos, festejos e atos públicos comunitários da etnia Guajajara na Aldeia Tamarindo, localizada há 50 km da cidade de Barra do Corda e constituída por cerca de 30 famílias, cujas atividades principais compreendem as práticas de agricultura familiar, o cultivo de mandioca, milho, dentre outras, se dá por meio da oralidade reforçada pelos caciques, pais e professores na transmissão do seu modo de saber, fazer e viver às gerações mais novas, e assim manter vivas suas tradições. Revela também que mesmo havendo a predominância da linguagem oral – a exemplo a comunicação boca-a-boca – em ações de mobilização social da Aldeia Tamarindo, coexistem outras estratégias de comunicação, a exemplo de celulares com Wi-Fi e de computadores, ainda que em menor frequência. Destaca que a oralidade, a iconografia, o artesanato, o modo de produzir e viver, são traços marcantes da região da Aldeia Tamarindo, constituindo-se então como forma e meio de registro que a comunidade encontra para transmitir para outras gerações, seus saberes e feitos originando assim os legados históricos que se constituem em patrimônios demarcados no tempo e no espaço, devem ter o devido reconhecimento da comunidade Guajajara no Estado do Maranhão.</text>

                <text>Resumo Este artigo aborda a convergência da prática da agricultura urbana (AU) com os propósitos das Áreas de Proteção Ambiental (APAs), da política urbana municipal e do abastecimento alimentar. Objetivou-se analisar a viabilidade de implementação da AU em terrenos ociosos inserto na APA Tarumã – Ponta Negra, Manaus-AM, enquanto instrumento de governança territorial e planejamento urbano. Foram aplicadas entrevistas semiestruturadas e técnicas de Sobreclassificação e Ordenamento de Cartões junto à população-alvo. Constatou-se que a utilização de terrenos ociosos para a AU não é vislumbrada como instrumento de governança territorial. Situação agravada pela atuação do poder municipal que inviabiliza a legitimação de projetos de lei acerca da destinação de terrenos ociosos para tal prática.</text>

                <text>Resumen Las “enfermedades infecciosas emergentes y reemergentes” constituyen una creciente amenaza para la hegemonía de la biomedicina, al suscitar no pocos interrogantes sobre la idoneidad de su discurso y prácticas para afrontar el desafío global que representan. Se analiza el proceso de construcción de esta nueva categoría nosológica, y se examinan ejemplos destacados del impacto de las enfermedades (re)emergentes en la salud pública, la seguridad alimentaria y el desarrollo humano a escala global. Se refiere a prácticas irresponsables de sectores de la industria farmacéutica y agropecuaria, determinantes en su desencadenamiento y diseminación; y a algunos fallos cruciales de enfoque y manejo de los tiempos en las políticas de salud global en relación al VIH/sida con desastrosas consecuencias para el África subsahariana.</text>
