El desarrollo tecnológico y científico en el último siglo ha generado una explosión en el volumen de conocimientos que fluyen a través de las nuevas tecnologías. Supone uno de los fenómenos más característicos del periodismo actual. Una de las consecuencias es la infoxicación que se puede llegar a producir por la sobrecarga de información. En el presente artículo se analiza la infoxicación en el cambio climático a través de un análisis de contenido del punto focal de un incremento de temperatura media mundial en torno a 2º C con respecto a los niveles preindustriales en El País. Las categorías que se analizan son: Protagonismo del punto focal (Se aborda de manera prioritaria o Se aborda de manera secundaria), Cómo se aborda (A propósito de lo que ocurre, A propósito de lo que se hace, A propósito de lo que se dice) y Respuestas (Mitigación, Adaptación). Como conclusiones observamos la presencia de infoxicación en la temática en torno al incremento de temperatura media mundial de 2º C en la predominancia del discurso de “lo que se dice” por encima de “lo que se hace” y de “lo que ocurre”; y la prevalencia del tratamiento de la adaptación sobre la mitigación. Como propuesta de desinfoxicación, desde un periodismo en transición, sugerimos apoyar el valor del punto focal de 350 ppm de CO2; la prevalencia de tratar “lo que se hace” y “lo que ocurre” sobre “lo que se dice”; y propiciar un equilibrio en el volumen de tratamiento de la adaptación y la mitigación.

This work aims to present the actions of the Interstate Movement of Babassu Coconut Breakers on digital social networks. It is a bibliographic and qualitative research that presents babassu, a palm of the Arecaceae family, as a source of income for women babassu nut breakers. It explains the work of babassu nut breakers, rural women from agroextractive communities inserted in several contextual dimensions, such as gender issues, agrarian reform, and sustainability. It covers the history, mission, and structure of the women nut breakers movement, as well as the concept of popular communication. It presents considerations on the use of ICT in popular communication, a discussion is made of the actions of the dissident movement on digital social networks that share agendas, products and ideals. The present approach understands the activities of the women nut breakers movement on the internet as a communication strategy towards the comunity. It concludes that the breakers movement performs digital activism and uses digital social networks to spread the word about the importance of their practices and ancestral knowledge.

Sol-Gel is a low cost, well-established and flexible synthetic route to produce a wide range of micro- and nanostructures. Small variations in pH, temperature, precursors, time, pressure, atmosphere, among others, can lead to a wide family of compounds that share the same molecular structures. In this work, we present a general review of the synthesis of LaMnO3, SrTiO3, BaTiO3 perovskites and zinc vanadium oxides nanostructures based on Sol-Gel method. We discuss how small changes in the parameters of the synthesis can modify the morphology, shape, size, homogeneity, aggregation, among others, of the products. We also discuss the different precursors, solvents, working temperature, reaction times used throughout the synthesis. In the last section, we present novel uses of Sol-Gel with organic materials with emphasis on carbon-based compounds. All with a perspective to improve the method for future applications in different technological fields.

Abstract This study was carried out in the Columbe parish of the Colta canton due to this area's availability of water and favorable climatic conditions for trout farming. Data were collected through a survey consisting of 20 closed questions, of which 5 were considered due to their relevance in the research work. The objective was to determine the acceptance of trout consumption for the possible implementation of a production and commercialization company, and to determine how much could be charged per kilogram. The results showed that 47.24% of the those surveyed consume trout biweekly, 61% consider its taste very pleasant, 39% consume trout for its nutritional properties, 61% would like the product to be delivered directly to their home, and the same percentage are willing to pay 6-7.50 dollars per kilogram of trout. The results demonstrated the feasibility of the proposal for the implementation and management of a trout production and marketing company on site.

Se realizó la cuantificación de las áreas con presencia de pajonales y la cantidad de carbono retenida por las mismas. La cuantificación de áreas se realizó mediante la manipulación e interpretación de imágenes satelitales. Para el cálculo de biomasa de los pajonales, se establecieron parcelas de corte (Harvest method), teniendo en cuenta dos cuadrantes de 1 m por 1 m por cada hectárea. Posteriormente, se cortó toda la vegetación cuyas raíces partían del interior del cuadrante, se registró el peso fresco total por metro cuadrado y se colectó una submuestra para su posterior obtención de biomasa seca y su respectiva identificación botánica. Además de ello, se realizó la identificación de las especies vegetales asociadas. Como resultado se generaron mapas de distribución de los pajonales en la zona alta de las microcuencas de las cataratas de Gocta y Chinata. El área de pajonales tiene 46,30 km2, distribuidos entre las microcuencas de Gocta y Chinata, donde predominan las especies vegetales de la familia de las Poaceae, con un porcentaje del 79% de área con cobertura vegetal. Se obtuvieron 10,1 t/ha de carbono.

Resultados: Se propone el enfoque de seguridad alimentaria sostenible, su posible respuesta a los desafíos emergentes mediante el vínculo entre los indicadores seleccionados y estos desafíos, así como los principios bajo los que debe operar. Discusión: Como tendencia los enfoques de seguridad alimentaria se clasifican en tradicional y emergente, así como por su evolución temporal en etapas, en este estudio se clasifican en tradicional, de seguridad alimentaria y nutricional, emergente y se propone el enfoque de seguridad alimentaria sostenible./Introduction: The present work aims to propose the sustainable food security approach as a response to emerging challenges.Method: The structure of identification of approaches is used, 1) theoretical foundations, of a scientific - particular type, 2) epistemic objectification and 3) functional evaluation, supported by the documentary analysis of theoretical studies, methodologies, institutional documents and projects.Results: The sustainable food security approach is proposed, its possible response to emerging challenges through the link between the selected indicators and these challenges, as well as the principles under which it should operate.Discussion: As a trend, food security approaches are classified as traditional and emerging, as well as by their temporal evolution in stages, in this study they are classified as traditional, food and nutritional security, emergent and the sustainable food security approach is proposed.

Dentro de los recursos naturales imprescindibles para la vida está el agua. La gestión de recursos hídricos tiene que ver con el manejo eficiente, equitativo y sostenible del agua, que es cada vez más escasa, y a su vez con creciente demanda. Uno de los problemas que está afectando la disponibilidad de recursos hídricos es el cambio climático. Este es un fenómeno inminente, y cada vez más sus efectos van generando impactos significativos que afectan directamente el recurso hídrico. En el caso del Municipio de Santa Fe, cuenca del río Santa María, existe abundancia del recurso hídrico, pero a la vez una demanda creciente y muchas amenazas por parte del área industrial. Este trabajo se enfoca en estudiar, desde la perspectiva de los principales actores comunitarios, la gestión de recursos hídricos en Santa Fe, con el fin de conocer la capacidad adaptativa de esta comunidad ante las amenazas del cambio climático.

Este trabajo tiene por objeto analizar propuestas provinciales de regulación de la cuestión agroalimentaria a partir del relevamiento y sistematización de quince proyectos de ley presentados durante el año 2020 en la Legislatura de la Provincia de Santa Fe. Se identificaron tres ejes centrales que funcionan como rasgos comunes en los proyectos: producción y distribución local, educación nutricional y formación agroalimentaria, e institucionalización de la participación ciudadana. Del análisis de estos ejes se concluye que en la agenda legislativa provincial comienzan a emerger estrategias públicas orientadas hacia una transición agroalimentaria.
