El siglo XXI ha traído una crisis dual y contradictoria surgida de la automatización y el deterioro medioambiental, dos factores que dan incertidumbre a esta época histórica. Este artículo aborda algunas de las interacciones entre estas dos dinámicas en el campo de la seguridad mediante técnicas prospectivas. A través del análisis de cuatro informes de distintas organizaciones, se descubren tendencias futuras clave en el área de la seguridad: movimientos migratorios asociados al cambio climático, inestabilidad social provocada por los cambios tecnológicos o la irrupción de pandemias asociadas al deterioro de los ecosistemas. Este análisis prospectivo permite modelar el futuro mediante las acciones presentes, para así romper el aura de inevitabilidad sobre las consecuencias negativas de estos dos factores.

The Amazon Region of Ecuador (ARE) hosts a great variety of biodiversity and ecosystems. These hotspots are internationally recognized for presenting unique fauna and flora found nowhere else in the world. Within the ARE, there is the Yasuní National Park (YNP), a recognized Biosphere Reserve located in the sub-basins of various rivers. The study area is the “ITT Oil Block” (Ishpingo, Tambococha, and Tiputini), situated in the Province of Orellana and superimposed on the YNP. The block has an area of 179,449.53 ha. The main objective of the current study was to analyze the multi-temporality of land-use change in the ITT Oil Block of the ARE. In the methodological process, the PCI Geomatic and ARCGIS programs were used for the processing and classification of satellite images (Landsat 7 and 8). The changes in land use in the ITT Oil Block over the three periods (2001, 2014, and 2017) indicated that forest cover decreased by 24.23% in soils, while infrastructure and cultivation increased throughout the time period by 0.27% and 0.23%, respectively. The most significant land-use change rate in the ITT Oil Block in the period 2001–2017 are the categories of bare soil with 9.01% (10,640.82 ha) and cultivation with 7.27% (591.29 ha).

El desarrollo local desde la práctica de los huertos familiares y escolares está vinculado a políticas públicas del Gobierno venezolano relacionado con la agricultura urbana, generando en esta investigación un plan de acción en la zona rural Capachalito, Municipio Tovar, Estado Aragua, para mejorar la calidad de vida de sus habitantes, incentivando a representantes, estudiantes y docentes a retomar la práctica de huertos escolares, dentro del Programa de Alimentación Escolar (PAE), apoyando los postulados de soberanía y seguridad alimentaria. Epistemológicamente se sustentó en el Paradigma Socio Crítico desde la perspectiva de Habermas (1987), con enfoque cualitativo, método de Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP) apoyado con la observación participante. El procesamiento de información se realizó mediante la clasificación, nudos críticos y síntesis categorial para construir estrategias de acción y evaluación de experiencias, permitiendo destacar la importancia del desarrollo endógeno y la agricultura sustentable comunitaria, para rescatar los saberes tradicionales vinculados a la siembra de huertos familiares y escolares.

Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la comercialización y venta de productos de segunda mano utilizando un entorno de e-commerce, en donde se facilite le econ omía circular en Panamá. Se analizaron algunos trabajos relacionados y la importancia de la economía circular con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible en el cuidado del medio ambiente. Una vez se analizaron las tecnologías existentes, para el proceso de desarrollo de software se seleccionó la metodología para desarrollo ágil llamada Programación Extrema (Extreme Programming) basándonos en las etapas de planificación, diseño, codificación y pruebas, para crear un prototipo funcional que cumpla con los requerimientos establecidos. Finalmente, se utiliza el método de evaluación heurística para evaluar la usabilidad del prototipo e identificar las mejoras del sistema en trabajos futuros. Este producto nos permitió ofrecer una herramienta tecnológica, que no solo se considera una forma de generación de una idea de negocio, sino que también permite crear conciencia entre los usuarios en aspectos de reutilización y disminución de productos contaminantes.

El cambio climático, entre otros factores, ha tenido un impacto significativo en el rendimiento de algunos cultivos. Por lo que resulta importante identificar caracteres en los genotipos de cítricos injertados que permitan disminuir el daño de algunas enfermedades fungosas como Mycosphaerella citri para lograr un mejor manejo en campo. El objetivo del trabajo fue evaluar la incidencia y severidad natural de la Mancha grasienta (M. citri) de diferentes variedades de naranja injertadas en la (EESuX), UAEM. Se plantaron 16 combinaciones con genotipos diferentes de árboles, en un arreglo espacial rectangular y un diseño completamente al azar a una densidad de 357 plantas por ha-1. La incidencia de manchas grasientas ocasionada por M. citri en hojas y su intensidad en el ensayo fueron registradas, a la vez que se midieron los efectos de las temperaturas, precipitaciones y H. R en relación con el desarrollo del patógeno. Los resultados indicaron que las combinaciones de Naranjo Agrio-Mars y Volkameriano-Hamlim fueron las de mayor incidencia de mancha grasienta. La mayor severidad de la enfermedad fue registrada en la combinación Volkameriano-Hamlin. Todas las variedades sobre patrón Volkameriano fueron sensibles a la enfermedad, mientras que las injertadas sobre Citrange C-35 fueron poco afectadas.

En el presente trabajo nos proponemos describir los saberes agroculturales que aplican los horticultores campesinos de los oasis norte y centro de Mendoza y analizar procesos de ruptura agroecológica. Se utilizaron técnicas cualitativas para dar cuenta de los sentidos que los horticultores dan a su trabajo y al entorno que sienten, perciben y modifican. Los saberes dominantes se imponen a través de una aparente falta de alternativas, mientras que las rupturas agroecológicas plantean una alternativa a través de una síntesis de saberes concretos y abstractos. La organización y la acción colectiva promueven y consolidan la agroecología que favorece el despliegue de una base de recursos que sinergiza el trabajo humano y la tierra viva.

El Estado argentino ha participado de múltiples maneras en la promoción de la vitivinicultura argentina, entendida tanto como políticas de apoyo a la innovación, la competitividad y la inversión, como intervención en los mercados para sostener precios remunerativos para algunos de sus actores, según la extensión del concepto adoptado por la Ley General de Vinos 14.878 / 1959. El presente artículo estudia cómo se implementó la promoción de esta agroindustria desde el Estado a partir de la sanción de esa ley hasta la actualidad, identificando qué organizaciones asumieron tareas que intentarían generar beneficios para un conjunto de agentes, aunque también podrían perjudicar a otros y por lo tanto ser cuestionadas por ellos. La definición y la extensión del concepto y la distribución de tareas entre organizaciones estatales o mixtas generaron disputas a lo largo de las décadas. La metodología es cualitativa y se centra en el análisis de bibliografía especializada y de entrevistas a actores claves.
