En este sentido, el artículo analiza los debates que se dieron en torno a la promoción de los huertos obreros, las propuestas legislativas, así como las acciones promovidas por tres empresas modelos en su rubro: la Compañía Manufacturera de Cartones, la Compañía Carbonífera e Industrial de Lota y la Empresa Cemento El Melón.
