O bom desempenho alcançado pelas plantas submetidas aos tratamentos de origem orgânica evidencia a possibilidade de substituição de soluções químicas na produção de mudas de alface em espuma fenólica.Considering that little information is available for lettuce seedlings production in fenolic foam, the nutritional status of lettuce transplants was evaluated. One mineral [Castellane & Araújo solution (C&A)] and three liquid biofertilizer solutions, complemented with or without micronutrients were evaluated. The C&A solution besides the nutrient content of the plant serve as basis to formulate organic solutions and nutritional evaluation of lettuce plantlets. A nutrient complementation of the organic solution with P, K, Cu and Mn is necessary. N additions over 7,14 mmolc.L-1 are beneficial under low phosphorus concentration. The good performance of organomineral solutions prove that the replacement of mineral solution for production of lettuce plantlets in fenolic foam is possible.
