<text>The conjuncture outlined by the information society draws an environment where one of the salient characteristics is the possibility of accessing large amounts of informational resources and integrating diverse thematic areas into informational environments. Agriculture is an influential economic activity generally developed in developing regions and communities. It configures a thematic area among topics to be discussed in the local context. It is considered the focus of this research, studies related to data access, questioning which research subjects are generating research that involves access to data in the context of agriculture, as well as those subjects that support these studies. It is intended to identify the intellectual domain in scientific production, in this case, indexed in the Web of Science (WoS), examining geographic origins, research temporaries, production indicators, and impact indicators. The research used the literature review to collect the data in the WoS, searching works by the terms (data access) and (agriculture), obtaining 24 documents, of which 10 reached the target of the study, developing in this collection a bibliometric study, observing the citing authors and the authors cited. The authors who produced the studies were 21, originating from all continents of the world, with emphasis on Africa. A set of 15 authors were identified as the most influential in the research, being Lwoga, E.T., of Tanzania the most cited author. It was determined the existence of indexed researches that are publishing in the context of access to data in agriculture, observing the participation of researchers linked to Information Science and other areas of knowledge. It would be interesting to highlight the fact of the little discussion originated in the American continent by the researches. Moreover, if these discussions were originated from Information Science, they could provide subsidies to areas that impact economic and social development indicators such as agriculture.</text>
