Em relatório de 2007, 8,7% das notificações registradas relacionavam-se à intoxicação por agrotóxicos, estes associados ao desenvolvimento de diversos tipos de câncer.2 O documento ressalta ainda a existência de subnotificação pela dificuldade de diagnóstico.
