Foram consideradas como importantes indicadores: a caracterização da mão-de-obra, o perfil das famílias, além da produção e da produtividade da renda e do trabalho. Verificou-se que nas unidades familiares pesquisadas a participação da renda agrícola e das rendas não-agrícolas (renda de aluguéis, de aposentadorias e de atividades não-agrícolas) na composição da renda total é de 29,47% e de 70,53%, respectivamente.
