A coleta de dados em campo ocorreu no período de julho/agosto de 2014 e consistiu de entrevistas com perguntas fechadas e abertas, e localização das propriedades dos entrevistados (com auxílio de GPS). As principais espécies de interesse econômico e de segurança alimentar foram: Euterpe oleracea Mart. (açaizeiro), Oenocarpus bacaba Mart. (bacabeira), Caryocar villosum (Aubl.) Pers. (piquiazeiro), enquanto que, sementes de Carapa guianensis Aubl (andirobeira) e o Protium sp (breu) são utilizadas com fins medicinal e artesanato local, respectivamente. Em termos de produção, a espécie comercializada que mais se destacou foi Euterpe oleracea Mart. com produção média estimada de 2083,3 kg/ano, seguida de Oenocarpus bacaba Mart. com 567,5 kg/ano.
