It begins with recognizing the problems and demands, followed by the construction of collective solutions, mediated by the researcher, in the environment of occurrence of the investigated subject, proposing measures adaptable to local conditions, seeking transformations and construction of meanings. It is composed of cycles of planning, actions, reflections and resignifications that repeat until the end of works. The data are obtained and analyzed within a qualitative approach, although it may be also combined with a quantitative one.
