BADINO Description An account of the resource Se evaluó el uso de Residuos Líquidos Orgánicos (RLO) de la industria láctea como mejorador de suelos de baja aptitud productiva de Santa Fe (Argentina). En un Natracualf típico sin cultivos, se aplicaron 6.600 kg materia orgánica/ha/año de RLO (2010 a 2014) comparándose con un lote testigo. Hubo aporte signifi cativo de materia orgánica (MO), nitrógeno (Nt), fósforo (P); calcio (Ca) y azufre (S) al suelo. El Nt y P se lavaron en profundidad debido a que no hubo extracción por cultivos. La adición de Ca originó reducción del contenido de sodio en el perfi l del suelo, así como de potasio (K) y magnesio (Mg). Con RLO cambió negativamente conductividad hidráulica, intervalo hídrico óptimo, arcilla dispersa en agua y densidad de suelo. Se requiere de una mínima remoción del suelo, rotación de cultivos y agregado de Mg para uso agronómico de RLO proponiéndose las propiedades evaluadas para monitorear.
