Se tomaron muestras de suelo y se realizaron análisis químico, así como de al agua para el riego, según normas vigentes, así como se evaluaron el número de tallos por plantón, altura de la planta, grosor del tallo y rendimiento. Los mejores rendimientos tanto en el periodo seco (20 t/ha) como el lluvioso (23,6 t/ha) se obtienen al utilizar humus líquido + fosforina + azotobacter + elementos esenciales.
