In Mexico under the Law for Promotion of Bioenergy are policies to promote sustainable alternatives, agreeing with the Kyoto Protocol. In both cases the strategy is questionable, as the benefits of green technology without appropriate policies in the expansion of bioenergy production based on the change of agricultural land use or incorporation.
