As amostragens foram quinzenais, no período de julho de 2003 a junho de 2006, utilizando um coletor de sucção aplicado sobre a copa das plantas. Houve captura de 17.925 artrópodes, sendo 9.397 pragas, 5.913 inimigos naturais e 2.615 insetos com outros hábitos. Os hemípteros foram as pragas capturadas em maior número, enquanto as aranhas e as joaninhas predominaram entre os inimigos naturais. Os resultados mostraram a existência de interações tróficas entre grupos da artropodofauna dos citros.
