This text presents the book Echoes of the end of the world. Through the method of the sociology of the present, developed by the french thinker Edgar Morin, the work, with a transdisciplinary character, seeks to map the different faces of the current pandemic in a theoretical-empirical approach from the perspective of 22 researchers in 26 articles, which closely examines the development of the pandemic in its most diverse consequences.
